· Apply a thick layer of hand cream before applying rubber gloves then wash your dishes in hot water, the heat will make the hand cream soak in and your hands will feel ultra soft.
· Stay away from long-lasting lipsticks in the winter months as they can dry lips out causing them to flake.
· If you have been partying and went to bed without taking off your makeup and your skin feels awful don't worry the next day cleanse face well and then apply your favourite face mask and once this is removed moisturise, let this soak in then moisturise again.
· To quickly finish drying nail polish when your nails are partially dry, place your hands in a bowl of very cold water.
· A low-fat, high-fibre, lots-of-water lifestyle will help keep skin healthy.
· For super soft skin fast, you should massage your body with oil first before getting into the bath or shower. Then follow the exfoliating method you prefer.
· After waxing the bikini area, apply an antibacterial cream to prevent infection or rash. Also wear loose clothing after waxing, and never wax on a sore area.
· Sprits your hair lightly with water and re-blow dry to revive products already in the hair and make your style look as good as new.
· Coloured mascara can look super-effective if applied with a light hand. Start by coating your lashes with two coats of black mascara. Once the lashes are dry, slick a little coloured mascara - try blue, violet or green - onto the underside of your upper lashes. Each time you blink your eyelashes will reveal a dash of unexpected colour.
· If you are over 35, or unsure about wearing blue eye shadow, swap it for a cool grey shade. This will create the same soft effect, but it's slightly more subtle.
· For instant relaxation, stand by an open window and take deep, steady breaths for a slow count of 10 or 12. Then hold your breath for about 10 seconds, releasing it with a long, low 'aaaah'. (Trying this more than twice may make you feel slightly dizzy).
· When using mousse in your hair, make sure you apply it from the roots to the ends, not just as a blob on the crown. Make sure you choose the right type for your hair. Normal is good for a great many styles, but if you want more holding power, don't jus use more mousse, as it can make hair dull; instead, choose a firm or maximum-hold product.
· All hair brushes should be cleaned by removing dead hairs and washing in warm, soapy water, then rinsing thoroughly. Natural bristle brushes should be placed bristle side down and left to dry naturally.
